Hello Everyone!

It has been a little while since our last devlog, we have been hard at work preparing for the early access version of Monster Girl Invasion.

We have so many new things to share such as a new main theme for the game composed by Feraldy Naufal, check it out below:

Main Theme

Work continues on story elements of the game as well as adding and implementing the new monster girls lovingly crafted by our artists. The overall intro to the game story is starting to take form and we are using a new quest log system that will help guide players through the game in case they get lost. It will also help you to differentiate between the main quest and any side quests you may pick up during your journey.

We also have a new design for the main character. His working name is Leo but players will be able to rename him if they wish to truly immerse themselves in the game. One of our design choices is to use minimal dialogue for the main character and instead provide the player with multiple choices during conversations. We believe this allows the player to further immerse and connect with their character, instead of having their character speak on the player's behalf, regardless of what they really want to say.

Now our Monster Girl roster is really starting to grow, our intended design of being able to build your own party of monster girls to fit your playstyle is taking form. Mix and match and recruit as many different monster girls as you can find in order to face the challenges that await you.

The battle system probably only requires a few more minor tweaks to get it feeling exactly how we want it. Now battles feel punchy and the monster girls feel dangerous enough without being too hard or too easy. The only thing missing is our battle theme, which is currently being composed!

We are coming very close to reaching a playable state that provides enough content to release it to the players so we hope to be able to make a good announcement for you soon. Until then, we shall continue chipping away at the tasks at hand.

The previously mentioned demo should also be ready soon, we just want to make sure that any major changes or overhauls have been completed before releasing it, otherwise we will also need to consider updating the demo in the future which will eat into development time.
