Hello Monster Girl Lovers!

After our last update in January about the game’s future, I’m back with an exciting new update on what’s coming next!

The Poll Results:

Thanks to everyone who voted and shared their thoughts! The community has spoken, and the game will now be split into multiple parts. To reflect this, we’ve already updated the game’s title on storefronts.

Most importantly, I want to sincerely thank each of you for your support, encouragement, and kind messages. This project wouldn’t be possible without you!

What Happens Next?

We’ll continue working on the game as normal until we have finished the current storyline in part 1, added a significant amount of polish and also more side content and other fun things.

We want to make sure everything is fully wrapped up.

There will be one more major content update which will conclude part one. This update will include the following:

• 4 new monster girls that are fightable and recruitable
• More side content and fleshing out of the world
• More learnable Skills for all characters
• More Equipment and Items with unique effects
• Many bug fixes and optimisations

There will be smaller updates and inevitable bug fix patches after this.

When Is The Next Major Update?

It’ll hopefully be ready around March or April.

About Pricing

I want to make sure the price remains fair. 

• Future parts will not be more expensive than Part 1.
• If you own Part 1, you can get other parts with a discounted steam bundle.
• Once all parts are complete, we’ll merge them into a Definitive Edition, you’ll get this for free if you own all parts.

About Saved Data

• Your save data from Part 1 will carry over into Part 2, so you can continue your journey without losing progress.
• New players will be able to start fresh with an intro sequence & custom choices to shape their party and inventory.

Overall Game Upgrades

With the way things are being approached for the parts system, any future updates that are made to future parts can be applied to previous parts retroactively.

So for example if we make some sweeping optimisations and changes to the game in part 2, those things will also apply to part 1.

We can even go back and touch up/add things to old areas in part 2 and have those changes reflected into part 1.

This means that we can still maintain and add new things to part 1 as we go along. It isn’t the end of updates for part 1.

Any changes that are made moving forward can benefit all previous parts.

Kickstarter Backers For Part 1

All original kickstarter backers for part 1 will get all future parts for free as we do not want to take away from them what was originally promised during the campaign.

Kickstarter For Part 2

Once part 1 is completed, there are plans to do a kickstarter for part 2. This is a great opportunity for those that missed the original campaign to get their own custom character and scenes into the game!

This will allow for appropriate funds to be raised to get part 2 fully funded for completion.

Part 1 was a learning experience, and we’ve gained valuable insights into budgeting and development. With Part 2, we can plan ahead more effectively to ensure a smooth development process with confidence.

Contents of Each Part

The aim is to have each part contain roughly the same amount of content but never less. All future parts will have around the same amount of characters, side content and story time as part 1 (once completed).

So you can look forward to around 25 new monster girls for each new part!

Once the game and all parts are fully complete, we hope to have over 100 different monster girls. Gotta…Cure them all?

Finally, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single player who has supported this game. Your passion, feedback, and encouragement mean the world to me.

I also want to acknowledge that this wasn’t the original plan, and I deeply appreciate your understanding as we move forward in a way that ensures the game reaches its full potential.

This isn’t a cash grab decision, just a solo dev who underestimated how much work and funding would be needed to make the game as great as it deserves to be. Thanks to all of you, I won’t give up!
